Kylie Hecht
As a Colorado native, I embarked on my undergraduate journey at the University of Oregon in the fall of 2021. Currently a Junior, I am on track to graduate in March 2025 from the Oregon School of Journalism and Communications with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Sports Business. Throughout my academic path, I have sharpened my writing skills throughout completing journalism classes and my internship in PR Cyber Security.
I am entering my second year of interning at Kesselring Communications Cyber PR, where I am learning the basics of public relations from my amazing team of seven. I complete this internship remotely, working under Leslie Kesselring, who has taught me so much about media relations, media tracking, crisis management, briefing documents, pitching, and press releases.
In my free time, I find joy in hiking, staying fit, and cherishing moments with my friends and family. Growing up, skiing has been a cornerstone of my life, along with my love for sports and my focus on achieving my best mental and physical well-being.
